May showers brought us June flowers

Working in our gardens has been so rewarding this summer. Not only do we have beautiful flowers thanks to all of the rain, we're also enjoying an abundance of growth in all of our plants...I love that!

Summer brings our 9th Annual Garden Tour on Saturday, July 15th. This is always one of my favorite events of our Club year. This year's tour promises to be one of our best yet. We have gathered a wide variety of gardens and are so excited to share them with you. Each year we strive to bring new and interesting touches to the tour. This year we will be featuring a "Vendors Village" at one of the garden stops. In addition to several unique local vendors selling their wares, we will also have a food truck on site to offer you a place to have lunch without feeling rushed to stop while on the road for a bite to eat. We think our tour attendees will love this! We welcome you to join us on the garden tour this year...Our tour poster highlights all of the details you need to secure tickets. Please go to the Home page of our website to see the Garden Tour poster located under 'Upcoming Events'; click there to view the details in full.

I am excited to report our Club continues to grow in membership. We love meeting new members who share their love of gardening and help us to promote the ideals of not only the National and Federated Garden Clubs of Pennsylvania but our own local interests. On the horizon this year, we will continue our work in the VOICe and Zelienople Historical Society gardens, a Habitat for Humanity home garden and our newest endeavor this fall, participating in the design and installation of the Cranberry Twp. Community Garden in Graham Park. So much to do!
