8th Annual Garden Tour a Success

A heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all of the wonderful people that attended our 8th Annual Garden Tour on July 16th. As always, our raffle baskets at registration were amazing. I loved watching the winners arrive at the Victorian Garden  in Evans City to pick up their beautiful baskets. A glorious day provided everyone a fantastic time touring the seven gorgeous gardens on the tour. The flowers were lovely and the hospitality of our home owners and docents (at the Zelienople gardens) was unsurpassed.  Since this event is our only fundraiser of the year, we count on our friends and supporters to help make it a success. Our club is so excited to give back to horticultural focused programs in our community as well as many charitable causes...This is what it's all about!

Our newest project "Planet Pink...Plant it Pink" will begin in October as we plant several small gardens in the community with pink flowers representing Breast Cancer Awareness. This is a National Garden Club (NGC) inspired project and our members are anxious to show our support for this worthwhile cause. Check back with us in the fall to see photos of the gardens as this project begins to grow.
