2015-2017 Seeds of Service Award

"Seeds of Service" is the name given to the recognition of exemplary volunteer service by the GCFP State President. Projects should benefit the membership, our clubs and communities. This award is only given out every two years. This year the award focused on Specialty Gardens and Promotion of Native Plants. Southern Butler County Garden Club earned the Seeds of Service Award for the Promotion of Native Plants by creating a native inspired serenity garden. This garden has been a labor of love for many years in our club... As one of our community service projects under the direction of Chairman Annie Tomb, we have planted and maintained a garden on the property of VOICe (Victims Outreach and Intervention Center). This space offers residents a quite and peaceful place to sit, relax and reflect.
